I'm not at VIU any more, but when I click on Google Scholar links I end up at the VIU Library login page. How do I make it stop?

Here are some settings to check that may be causing this issue:
1. Library Links in Google Scholar may be set up for VIU and not your new preferred library. To change this:
- Start at Google Scholar
- In the top left corner of the browser window, open the three-lined menu
- Click on “settings” Click on “Library links”
- Uncheck 'Vancouver Island University Libraries – Get it from Library@VIU'
- Click on “save”
2. The Zotero connector does offer to save proxy settings if you have it installed. If at some past time you accepted that offer, that could be another place to look. Learn more about how it works, and how to undo it.
