You can join the call either through your web browser (Chrome or Microsoft Edge are recommended) or the Microsoft Teams application. Instructions for joining both ways are provided below.

Joining via your web browser

1. Click on the "Join the Microsoft Teams call" link in your chat conversation.

2. A new tab will open in your browser. Select "Continue on this browser."

3. If this is your first time using Microsoft Teams in a browser, it will likely ask for permission to access your microphone and camera. If you wish to use these features, you will need to select "allow."

4. The next screen will allow you to customize your audio/video settings (such as blurring your background) and ask you to enter a name. Feel free to use an alias or a nickname.

5. Once you are ready, select "Join Now."

Joining via Microsoft Teams

1. Click on the "Join the Microsoft Teams call" link in your chat conversation.

2. A new tab will open in your browser. Select "Join on the Teams app" or "Open Microsoft Teams" above. If you do not have the application, there is a link to download Teams on the page reading "Download it now."

4. The next screen will allow you to customize your audio/video settings (such as blurring your background) and ask you to enter a name. Feel free to use an alias or a nickname.

5. Once you are ready, select "Join Now."
