How can I cite and temporarily save my citations in LibrarySearch?
You can automatically generate individual citations for sources in LibrarySearch, or temporarily save and send references in list format.
Answer
For individual citations:
1. In your LibrarySearch results list, choose a source you'd like to cite.
2. Click on the "Cite" button in the form of " a quotation mark in the upper right of the item.
3. Choose your preferred citation style (eg. APA, MLA, or Chicago)
4. The system should automatically generate a citation in your chosen style. You can copy this citation in your working document or export it to a citation manager if you are using one (eg. Zotero). Make sure to review the citation with a reliable citation style guide since the generated citation may have errors (eg. missing hanging indents and capitalizations).
Note: Other databases (eg. Proquest or EBSCO) may also have their own citation generator options.
