I'm having trouble accessing library resources and/or I forgot my password. How can I get access?
Answer
Students use their VIU student number and computer account password to access library resources. This is the same account as your VIU email, VIULearn, and Secure Wifi.
Employees also use their VIU employee number (starting with a 3) or their computer username (typically LastnameFirstinitial) with their computer account password.
Troubleshooting:

Try to log in to your library account on this page.

If you're unable to login, try resetting your computer account password.

If you still cannot log in, check that you have completed the set up for your VIU email, including 2-step verification.

If you continue to encounter issues, contact the IT Service Desk.
