VIU Library materials can be returned directly to Library employees at the Service Desk during our open hours.

Equipment from the equipment loans collection must always be returned in person to a Library employee.

Each campus also has book drops available for non-equipment returns after hours. Nanaimo has two book drop locations.

One is located outside, directly across from Starbucks.

The blue book monster is checked every morning for library returns.

The other Nanaimo book drop is located inside, next to the 3rd floor universal washroom.

The inside book drop is checked periodically throughout the day.

The Cowichan book drop is located on the west side of the building next to the entrance leading to the Campus Store.
